September 23rd, 2008

Some people have expressed interest in my irssi configuration, more specifically, the list of URLs that pour into my status window. Read on to learn how, but be warned that this is a serious time sink…

September 20th, 2008

Supybook 0.0.2 has been released, and with that the supybook.git repository is publicly mirrored on repo.or.cz as well.

More plugins are covered in this version: ChannelStats, Games, Nickometer, Quote, QuoteGrabs. More caveats/bugs are covered in the documentation as well. Many sections were also expanded and improved.

Have a look :-)

Public IRC logging

September 17th, 2008

New project released: Supybook – Supybot handbook

September 13th, 2008

Supybook 0.0.1 has been released just now. The goal of this project is to provide a sort of handbook for Supybot, covering the basic administrative tasks you need to perform on the bot, and to allow a smooth start into learning deeper details. The intended audience is owner(s), admins, channel operators, as well as regular users.

I started writing this about a week ago on 2008-09-05, so don’t expect the first version to be perfect or cover everything there is to be known about Supybot. This is also my first documentation project for someone else’s project, so it’s a learning experience for me in many ways :-)

Supybook will be self-hosted for now, due to SF.net rejecting the registration.

Feel free to have a glance – feedback is welcome as usual.
