ViewGit 0.0.2 released
ViewGit 0.0.2 has just been released (download) with minor features and bugfixes. Most visible change is probably the addition of tag/head/remote labels, idea shamelessly ripped from GitWeb.
$ git shortlog v0.0.1..v0.0.2 David O'Rourke (1): GeSHi line numbers. Heikki Hokkanen (18): Use rel=nofollow for archive links. Sanity check for git_get_path_info(). No GeSHi for extensionless files. Use standards-compliant tag for favicon. Supress E_NOTICE when dealing with GeSHi. Disable GeSHi line numbers if geshi_line_numbers is false. doc/author: mention "git shortlog -e -s". Show ref labels in shortlog. Oops, typofix. Show remote refs in shortlog (default: no). CSS cleanup. Added 'Complying with the license' to doc/LICENSE. CSS: smaller font in shortlog table. todo: commit searching. RSS: escape '<' in commit message properly. Separate datetime format for 'commit' page. commit: retain original formatting of commit message. Retain empty lines in commit messages.
Freshmeat release announcement is pending.
On a related note, I checked the SourceForge statistics for ViewGit, and it seems so far 288.7 MiB has been transferred for the webpages (11494 hits, 1757 pages), and 5.9 MB for the downloads (167 downloads). Unfortunately repo.or.cz provides no transfer statistics, but I’d expect more traffic there than on SF downloads. Big thanks to both sites, I wouldn’t be able to host all my own projects myself!
Google Analytics also shows ViewGit has been getting a nice amount of traffic considering how new project it is. Must be the screenshots (and GA proves that
