The DokuWiki piwik plugin has been updated to reflect the API changes made in Piwik 0.4. You only need to extract the new version over the old one to upgrade.
There’s no rush to upgrade as Piwik 0.4 is still compatible with the old tracking code.

Today I wrote and released the first version of Piwik plugin for DokuWiki. Official plugin page is at splitbrain, and fealdia wiki hosts the download.

I recently blogged about trying out Google Analytics. The service is nice, but I’d much prefer to keep my hands on the data than let Google store it. In fact, they aren’t giving you the data, only some reports they believe you want to see. So an open source alternative to Google Analytics would be much wanted, as that would let you keep the data yourself.
